Do you follow environmentally responsible practices?
At Sail Halifax, we take a practical, low-impact approach to operating on the water. Our goal is to deliver a great experience while minimizing our footprint on Halifax Harbour.
Our operations are guided by a few simple principles:
- Prioritize sailing whenever conditions allow to reduce fuel use
- Operate with awareness of marine life and surrounding ecosystems
- Follow responsible boating practices to protect the harbour and coastline
- Keep operations efficient and minimal to reduce unnecessary impact
Our approach is simple, respect the water, operate responsibly, and leave the harbour exactly as we found it.
